Haven’t updated in a while.

Weird how the last couple of Blog Posts almost look legitimate, the reason for this blog was originally (and still very much is), to have a page for my work.

I never intended it to be my one way discussion over a variety of media topics. It’s true, I haven’t produced much content, my last work was a revised short story of an old flash I made in 2005 for attention. It’s soon to change though since I have a couple of ideas I’m juggling.

Cheers for reading

Elfen Lied, and its reputation.

Best and Worst anime by popular opinion.

Not being a huge fan on anime, except for certain works, I took a major interest in this debate back in 2007. Firstly, the general consensus is that Cowboy Bebop is the greatest, with Elfen Lied ranking at the worst. Which made me watch both.
Although Lied, lived to its opinion, as a piece of schlock cinema. One scene from the finale, interested me more than the entirety of Bebop could.

Spoilers obviously-

Note the context that this girl killed his entire family in front of him. Contextual Clip:
Can you imagine something as anti social in the presentation of the former clip within western media? Let alone in cartoon, or even pop-art form. Compare this to a film such as “Fatal Attraction” which warns the audience on overbearing women.
 More on this soon.

RIP 2011

, and everything changes, a morning viewing of an old sketch show has made me wonder the relevance of satire after it’s post-date.
Chris Morris’ “Brass Eye”, seems almost irrelevant now, as he moved
onto Islamic Extremists. But re-watching it recently brought back a wealth  of memories of when Britain was terrorised by serial killer- paedophiles.
Strange thing is, Levi Bellfield and Ian Huntley hadn’t even surfaced at this point.

Hey happy belated New Year Everyone. I’m starting to make Album covers,
and T-shirts, and designs for various household/ office stuff. Interested? Email me?
It’s currently free, the main bite is that I make all the final choices art-wise.
Same goes for concept art requests.
